I have been in the market for a home based NAS (network attached storage) device for sometime now. After some serious research I decided on the D-Link DNS-323. Here are the pros and cons I have discovered so far and pictures.

Pros:
Gigabit Ethernet
2 drive enclosure that can be setup in Mirror or span or individuals
Nice heavy construction
Ability to act as a print server via USB port
Super easy to setup
iTunes server built in
Ability to schedule FTP transfers

Cons:
USB port can only be used for printer no drive expansion via USB
Not really a con it is Tivo closed system but it would be nice if I could figure out a way to let this device store video files that could be played back on the Tivo

All in all I am very satisfied with this guy for the price. It is a great addition to my home network.
